FAQs
Shipping Questions
What shipping methods do you offer?
We offer both Container Shipping and RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) options. Container shipping provides maximum security in a private enclosed container, ideal for luxury and exotic vehicles. RoRo is more economical, where vehicles are driven onto the shipping vessel.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically takes 30-45 days depending on destination. Expedited shipping can reduce this to 20-35 days. Actual transit times vary based on shipping routes, port schedules, and customs clearance.
Is insurance included?
Basic marine insurance is included, covering major damages during transit. We strongly recommend upgrading to Comprehensive or Premium Plus insurance for luxury vehicles, which provides broader coverage including minor damages and zero deductible.
What documents are required?
We handle most documentation including bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, and export declaration. You’ll need to provide your passport/ID and may need additional documents based on your country’s import regulations.
Are import duties included in shipping costs?
No, import duties and taxes are separate and paid at the destination country. These vary significantly by country and vehicle value. We can provide estimates and connect you with customs brokers who can give exact figures.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes! Once your vehicle ships, you’ll receive tracking information including vessel details, estimated arrival dates, and real-time location updates throughout the journey.
What happens if there's damage during shipping?
All damages are documented during loading and unloading. If damage occurs during transit, you file a claim with the insurance provider. Our comprehensive insurance options provide better coverage and faster claim processing.
Can you deliver to my address or only to port?
Standard shipping is to the nearest major port. We can arrange final mile delivery to your address through our local transport partners for an additional fee. This varies by location and distance from port.
